Mark Jeffrey Kling, 55, of Paauilo, died Sept. 3 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Sept. 24, 1956, in Hutchison, Kan., he was a U.S. Department of Agriculture agricultural inspector and Navy veteran.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. Sept. 24 at Kapaa Beach Park in North Kohala for a celebration of life. Lei and loose flowers welcome.

He is survived by wife, Sutha Kling, of Paauilo; mother, Evelyn Kling, of Hutchison, Kan.; brother, Mike (Moon) Kling, of San Francisco; sisters, Rose Ann (Jim) Rostine, of Prescott, Ariz., Jane Angell, of Hutchison, Kan., Stephanie (Craig) Kirmer, of Salt Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews.
